Timeline

1946

FOUNDATION The letterpress printing process also allowed a romantic vision for this industry, mainly due to the need for manual composition, linotype and clichés to produce the forms with the texts and images for printing.

1970

OFF-SET PRINTING Since the beginning of the 70s, Ipsis has migrated to off-set printing, considered at the time a bold and modern process to replace the typographic.

1980

THE TRIPOD: SERVICE, QUALITY AND FAIR PRICE From the beginning of the 80s, Ipsis developed concepts that never stopped following the guidelines of the company’s management, taking care to consider service, quality and fair prices in order to support its managerial decisions.

1990

REVELATION TO THE BRAZILIAN MARKET Ipsis reveals itself to the Brazilian market as a precursor and innovative graphics company in advanced graphic processes and technologies, fundamentally following the European model of family printing companies, where company administrators remained close to employees on a daily basis, in all the departments, especially the commercial, administrative and production departments.

2000

MODERNIZATION OF THE COMPANY At the turn of the century, beginning of the year 2000, Ipsis was already a pioneer in the implementation of the CTP process – copying plates without photolith and printing with 8 color reversing machines. Then, it started to consider the customer as the real boss of the company, making all employees incorporate this concept. In the following years, Ipsis invested all the necessary resources to become the most modern printing company, in the broadest concept of total quality.

2019

Over more than 70 years, Ipsis has materialized stories and dreams. We changed our image. Our essence, what defines us, remains the same. Our new brand is flexible and open to embrace the paths that are already there and those that are yet to come. The typography is contemporary and has been customized. It is unique, just like the works we produce. Colors the way we see the world. Patterns inspired by graphic signs speak of the translation of visual arts and human history. The art of turning dreams into reality.

2011

Installed in the modern industrial graphic park, with optimizations in production processes and implementation of internal enhancements, improving autonomy and workflow. Self-sufficient in most stages of production, with 12,000 m2 in the city of Santo André, in the state of São Paulo. Producing products such as art books, architecture, hardcover photography, literature books, high-end segmented magazines, as well as annual reports from companies and catalogs in general. It has more than 250 direct and indirect employees and seeks in this moment to consolidate already certified processes such as FSC and ISO 9001:2015.
